My first open courseware on Lanqb showed on April.4, 2016. Its theme arounds How to effectively improve the ability of aesthetic appreciation and painting. Over 1,300 people enrolled. Now its video has been already released on Lanqb. Go there and check it, it totally free.

A busy year, a year of plenty. Had a trip to USA. Who impresses me in this year? Wayne Reynolds, L.D.Austin, Glenn Rane and Samwise Didier. I got lots knowledge from their works. I tried to let stories join my works, give them life, and I think in the end of this year I did it more or less.
60 works, 5 projects, 1st time to go USA.
Summary
At the beginning of this year - Feb.17, an article of me was published in Colored CG Online Magazine.
March 27, the novel BREAKSHIELD which I drew the cover art was published by The Zharmae Publishing Press. The cover itself got the second place of Ultimate Fantasy Books Best Book Cover 2014. It was chosen in Daily Deviations on DeviantART. There are also more covers will come in 2015 and future, please looking forward to it.
In June, I had two online interviews, one with DarK and the other with Blizzard Entertainment. The interview with Blizzard Entertainment has been translated in different language and published on global official sites.
In July, I did a special work for D163, to unveil DiabloIII coming into China, I'm very honored this work was approved by Blizzard Entertainment. Also, some works of mine were chosen by Samwise Didier to take participate in the art exhibition of Warcraft in Gamescom2014. Did you go there and see my works? One more thing, I did a lich king card back of Hearthstone, it is very popular with players.
In December I was invited by Blizzard Entertainment to join Blizzcon2014 and meet lots employees of Blizzard. Luckly I watched Warcraft movie trailer and drew its memory paintings out after I back to China. It's popular and reported by lots of sites and players.
Also, In the second half of year, I drew some card arts for HEX TCG. I attach two pieces of them in following and please visit my ArtStation if you want to see more.
Thinking and Behind the Works
It is so fast that one year has passed again. I don't feel I waste it when I reviewing.
Who impresses me in this year? Wayne Reynolds, L.D.Austin, Glenn Rane and Samwise Didier. I got lots knowledge from their works. I tried to let stories join my works, give them life, and I think in the end of this year I did it more or less.
Oh, by the way, I need to mention the work lich king card back of Hearthstone. I designed it for an afternoon and in the first night it had reposted for over 200 times! How about the impression works of Warcraft movie trailer? More than it, it got over 1000 times of repost and even more, it was retweet by Warcraft movie director Duncan Jones! I saw a rumor like this in Hearthstone Reddit - "Its author is working at Blizzard" There are always some people often asked me like this too. What? I wish I am, but unfortunately I'm not there. Anyhow it is still my dream.
I love speed painting now, it's very useful to improve painting skill. It will let you focusing on the most important content, to control the whole picture, atmosphere and emotion. Also, there's a long long list of Hearthstone back design in my plan, I think I will do more designs in 2015. Of course, I can't let you have a sneak peek at my list now.
